Taken with Kelly’s phone earlier this evening at his new company’s Christmas party.
We went to Jack’s school’s awards ceremony tonight, where we learned that he won first place in the History Fair competition at his school in the website division. He goes on to the regional competition at Baylor in February.
I realized lately that our Christmas lights on our house are so subtle that it’s hard to get a good picture of them. Here’s our Christmas tree in the doorway instead.
Backdating old posts here, since I fell down on the DPP job over the last few days. Here is a picture from Kelly’s birthday on Tuesday, his chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and crushed peanut butter cups on top.
I had a bunch of baking to do this evening – for a department Christmas party tomorrow and also Kelly’s birthday cake. I had a plan to take a picture of my finished baked goods, but Kelly looking all cute licking his birthday cake batter bowl won for the picture of the day.
A couple of days ago, my mother-in-law brought over this beautiful glass Christmas ornament in the shape of a pomegranate for our first Christmas tree in our new house.
We drove the three hours to San Antonio this morning so we could have lunch with some old friends from my church in Cleveland. Fr. David and Julie, who had been in Del Rio, have recently moved to a parish just north of San Antonio. Fred and Kathy live in Houston and Dennis and Betty [...]
Kelly’s mom and dad brought over some homemade chicken soup for us tonight and as we were seeing them off, this is what the sky looked like.
Sorry there’s no picture tonight guys. Jack came home from school puking up everything in sight and I’m feeling slightly nauseous as well. We just took it easy tonight and are going to bed early.
Somebody wants to be a Christmas gift.
