The Sanger-Heights Neighborhood Association was formed in 1985 and worked for community improvement throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Noteable achievements were neighborhood cleanup projects and the Seley Park improvements.
Re-formed in 2009, the neighborhood association has once again gathered interested neighborhood residents to focus on the following priorities:
- Creating a Neighborhood Identity
- Improving Neighbor Connectedness (i.e. “Social Capital”)
- Actively Marketing the Neighborhood as a Great Place to Real Estate Agents
- Attracting More and Nicer Local Businesses
- Partnering with the City to “step-up” Code Enforcement
